AS Roma has officially signed Argentine right-back Nahuel Molina from Atletico Madrid, the Serie A club confirmed on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old defender, a key figure in Argentina's 2022 World Cup-winning squad, joins Roma for a reported fee of €17 million (approximately $20 million).
Molina brings extensive international experience, having earned 65 caps for Argentina and participated in the recent World Cup final where Argentina faced Spain. He has also celebrated two Copa America titles with his national team in 2021 and 2024.
During his European career, Molina has made 249 appearances and scored 19 goals while playing for Udinese and Atletico Madrid.
AS Roma returns to the UEFA Champions League after a seven-year absence and could field Molina in their Serie A opener against Fiorentina on August 24.
