Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen has dismissed transfer rumors surrounding star wingers Luis Diaz and Michael Olise, affirming both players will remain at the Bundesliga club for the upcoming season.
Speaking at a press event in Munich, Dreesen described speculation about Diaz's potential move to Saudi Arabia and Olise's links to Real Madrid as unfounded. He emphasized that no formal offers or inquiries had been received regarding either player.
"It's surprising to see what gets said when you know the truth yourself; it's interesting," Dreesen said. He confirmed Olise, who impressed during France's run to the World Cup semi-finals, would "obviously" be part of Bayern's squad next season, noting no contact from Real Madrid had been made.
Regarding Diaz, who joined Bayern in 2025, the CEO stated, "We'd be foolish to let him go. We have such a good team; let them play and score goals." Diaz and Olise, who arrived in 2024, are both under contract until 2029.
Dreesen also expressed optimism about England captain Harry Kane's contract extension, noting mutual interest between the player and the club. Kane, who celebrated his 33rd birthday recently, contributed 61 goals and seven assists across 51 matches last season.
