Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) men's basketball head coach Robert Mugabe has emphasized that the team is still a work in progress, despite their recent emphatic 104-64 victory against Moischers.
The match, held at Makande Gymnasium in Mombasa, saw KPA dominate from start to finish, marking one of their most decisive wins this season.
Speaking after the game, Mugabe noted:
"I'm pleased with our progress, but we are not getting complacent. The team executed the game plan well today, yet there remain several areas needing improvement if we aspire to reach the top."
With this win, KPA improved their standing to 28 points from 15 matches, having secured 13 wins and suffered only two losses. They currently hold second place in the league, trailing league leaders Nairobi City Thunder by six points.
Meanwhile, Moischers remain near the bottom of the table with 19 points after 15 matches, winning four and losing 11.
