The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has announced that two individuals are currently held and being questioned in connection with the fatal shooting of Dr. Victoria Nthunya Mutiso. The incident occurred on July 29, 2026, in Nairobi's Upper Hill area.
DCI homicide detectives, collaborating with forensic and investigative teams, have been following multiple leads, conducting witness interviews, and carrying out targeted searches. These operations led to the recovery of key exhibits from locations linked to the suspects, which are now undergoing detailed forensic examination.
While the identities of the two persons of interest remain confidential to protect the investigation's integrity, it is reported that Dr. Mutiso's husband is among those being interrogated.
