At least two people died in a serious accident on Riverside Drive in Westlands, Nairobi, on the morning of August 17, 2026. The collision involved a Range Rover and a motorcycle.
Eyewitnesses reported that the Range Rover, believed to be transporting foreign nationals, lost control after speeding and overtaking recklessly. The vehicle rolled multiple times, sustaining severe damage.
Preliminary investigations indicate that both the boda boda rider and the Range Rover driver died at the scene. Other passengers in the vehicle were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
