Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) will carry out scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, July 28, affecting electricity supply in 10 counties. The outages are necessary to upgrade infrastructure, replace faulty lines, and facilitate new connections.

  • Embu: Kivwe, Githimu, Gatunduri areas from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Nyeri: Multiple locations including Thangathi, Kiuu, Ithanji from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Kisumu: Chemalal area from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Nairobi: Part of Eastleigh from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Machakos: Kathiani and neighboring areas from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Mombasa: Kilima Road, Khadija Estate, Nyali, and other locations from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Kwale: Bonje Village and Mwache Dam from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Kilifi: Marafa Market, Wareso, and nearby areas from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Tana River: Hola Town, Masalani Town, Bura Fafi from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Taita Taveta: Multiple zones including Rekeke, Orkungu, Jipe Market from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
