Lucy Muthoni, a dairy farmer in Githunguri, Kiambu County, is counting losses after 10 valuable cows were reportedly stolen. The animals, including nine Friesian and one Ayrshire cow, are estimated to be worth around KSh 5 million.
Muthoni had employed workers from a neighbouring country to manage her farm. However, on Thursday night, these employees allegedly collaborated with external thieves to remove the livestock and disappeared before the theft was noticed.
