Marvel Studios revealed plans for Black Panther III during the 2026 Comic-Con International in San Diego, thrilling fans worldwide. The film is scheduled for release on December 15, 2028.
British actor David Jonsson, known for roles in HBO's Industry and the 2025 film The Long Walk, will take on the lead as the son of T'Challa, the original Black Panther immortalized by the late Chadwick Boseman.
Director Ryan Coogler, who helmed the first two installments, returns to guide the third film. Coogler described the story as following T'Challa’s son as he steps into his father’s legacy.
