Kenyan influencer and community advocate Mercy Masai has shared a joyful milestone with her followers after acquiring a brand-new SUV.

On July 26, Mercy posted photos and a video showing friends and family gathered around the vehicle, praying over it in a moment of gratitude. She expressed heartfelt thanks to God, saying, "This God of mine has a way of really showing up and showing off... He never plays when it comes to His daughter."

From Nkama Village to New Heights

Mercy reflected on her upbringing in Nkama, a small village in Oloitoktok, Kajiado County, highlighting how her modest beginnings have kept her grounded. She encouraged her followers not to underestimate anyone’s potential, stating, "As long as a man is still breathing, never look down on anyone!"

Community Work and Political Ambitions

Trained as a psychologist, Mercy runs the Mercy Mission Foundation, an organisation that fights against female genital mutilation (FGM) and supports vulnerable children with education and sanitary resources.

In May 2025, she announced her candidacy for the Kajiado Woman Representative seat in the 2027 General Election. Since then, many supporters have addressed her as "mheshimiwa" in recognition of her growing public profile.
