Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has designated four players as available for permanent transfers as the club continues to restructure its squad ahead of the new season.
Despite all four featuring in a recent 5-0 preseason win over Rosenborg, Radek Vitek, Harry Amass, Dan Gore, and Toby Collyer have been informed they are not in the first-team plans moving forward.
New Signings and Squad Changes
This summer, Manchester United secured five new signings, including midfielders Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos, following the departure of Casemiro. The club also strengthened its goalkeeping options by signing Karl Darlow on a free transfer and acquiring 20-year-old Kit Margetson from Swansea City.
Players Set to Leave
- Radek Vitek: The goalkeeper spent last season on loan at Bristol City and has attracted interest from Championship clubs such as Middlesbrough.
- Harry Amass: A left-back who scored in the Rosenborg friendly, Amass has made seven senior appearances for United and impressed during a loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday. Several Championship teams are reportedly interested in him.
- Dan Gore and Toby Collyer: Both midfielders face uncertain futures after the addition of Tielemans and Santos. Collyer, who played under former manager Ruben Amorim, spent last season on loan at West Brom and Hull City, winning promotion with Hull before returning to United.
Additional Transfer Developments
Manchester United is also pursuing Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye to bolster their attacking options. However, competition from Al-Hilal has intensified the race to sign the Senegalese international ahead of the preseason.
