At least one person died and approximately 15 others sustained injuries after a vehicle reportedly drove into a crowd near the Berlin Gay Pride parade on July 25, 2026.
Authorities confirmed that the incident occurred near the Tiergarten park, where the Christopher Street Day (CSD) event was taking place. Police said the car entered the park and struck several individuals, some suffering serious injuries.
Emergency responders treated the wounded at the scene. The suspected vehicle was later found abandoned, and police launched a search for those responsible.
In response to the attack, officials advised attendees to disperse, and the event was cut short. The area where the incident occurred was promptly cordoned off for investigation.
The Christopher Street Day parade, held annually in Germany, had attracted hundreds of thousands of participants celebrating LGBTQ+ pride. The march typically concludes near the Brandenburg Gate, a site that had hosted related concerts in the days prior.
