The National Police Service (NPS) has intensified efforts to curb organised criminal activities along Kenya's Coast Region, resulting in the arrest of 90 suspected gang members over a two-week period.
The operation, launched based on intelligence and surveillance, targeted individuals linked to criminal networks undermining the safety of local communities. All suspects have been arraigned in court to face relevant charges.

Police officers have maintained a strong presence in identified crime hotspots, coordinating deployments to dismantle organised gangs. The NPS highlighted that the crackdown is ongoing and aims to restore security in the affected areas.
