The Public Service Commission (PSC) has launched recruitment for its 2026/2027 Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP), inviting recent university graduates to apply for paid internships within government ministries, state agencies, and public universities.
Eligibility and Application Process
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, with graduation no earlier than 2020.
- Proficiency in computer skills is required.
- Applicants should not have previously participated in a similar government internship.
- Applications must be submitted via the PSC online portals: www.publicservice.go.ke or www.psckjobs.go.ke.
- The application deadline is August 17, 2026.
Programme Details
The 12-month internship is non-renewable and aims to empower youth by providing practical experience, professional mentorship, and networking opportunities to enhance employability and entrepreneurial skills.
Interns will be assigned duties by supervisors in their respective placements and are expected to document acquired skills throughout the programme. A government-determined stipend will be provided during the internship period.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate acknowledging their involvement.
