Six men have been detained on suspicion of murder after a 22-year-old man died from stab wounds in Clapham, south-west London, according to the Metropolitan Police.
The victim was admitted to hospital shortly after 4:30 a.m. BST on Saturday with stab injuries but later succumbed to his wounds. The stabbing reportedly occurred near Tremadoc Road and Clapham High Street around 4:20 a.m.
Four of the arrested suspects, aged between 22 and 24, also received stab wounds and are currently undergoing treatment. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening or permanently disabling. Two additional men, aged 23 and 27, were arrested at the hospital on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Lee, leading the investigation, said police are conducting extensive inquiries in the vicinity to clarify the circumstances surrounding the attack. An increased police presence is expected in the area as the investigation continues.
The victim's family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers.

Superintendent Mark Gallacher described the incident as "tragic" and acknowledged the community's concerns. He urged anyone with information to contact the police on 101, quoting reference 1474/25July, or provide anonymous tips through Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
