During proceedings at the Kibera High Court, a State House police officer gave a detailed account of a fatal attack on security personnel guarding the presidential residence.
Kelvin Nyabuto, a presidential guard on duty on October 13, 2025, described seeing a man approach Gate D holding an object that appeared to be firewood.
However, Nyabuto soon realized the suspect was armed with a bow and arrows and seemed intent on targeting the officers.
The testimony shed light on the initial confusion among security staff during the attack, which resulted in the death of a State House guard.
