20,000 Junior School Teaching Vacancies
TSC is inviting qualified Kenyan teachers to apply for 20,000 permanent, pensionable positions as post-primary teachers in junior schools. This move supports the implementation of the Competency Based Education (CBE) curriculum.
Applicants must be registered with TSC, hold at least a diploma in education, have a minimum KCSE mean grade of C+, and meet subject grade requirements. Only unemployed teachers who have not left service on disciplinary grounds are eligible. Applications open on August 18 and close on August 31, 2026, and must be submitted online through the TSC website or Teachers Online portal.
34,016 Promotion Opportunities Available
In addition to new hires, TSC has advertised 34,016 promotion vacancies across various teaching and administrative roles. These include positions such as Chief Principal, Principal, Deputy Principal, Senior Lecturer, Senior Master, Curriculum Support Officer, Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, and Senior Teacher grades.
Key advertised roles include 54 Chief Principal posts, 770 Principal positions, and thousands of vacancies at senior teacher and deputy headteacher levels. Applications for promotion close on August 10, 2026, and are submitted via the Teachers Online portal.
