Ugandan police have apprehended two individuals suspected of murdering a boda boda rider and stealing his motorcycle in Bujumba, Butula Constituency, Busia County, Kenya. The suspects reportedly crossed into Uganda following the incident.

According to the Butula Constituency intelligence department, the suspects are local residents, with one already wanted by Kenyan authorities. They are accused of fatally assaulting the boda boda rider before fleeing with his motorcycle into Uganda.

In addition, the suspects allegedly attacked another boda boda rider in Uganda, seriously injuring him and stealing his motorcycle. Ugandan authorities have recovered the motorcycle stolen in Kenya, while efforts continue to locate the vehicle taken from the Ugandan victim.

Two of the three suspects involved have been detained in Uganda. They are expected to face charges there before being handed over to Kenyan law enforcement to confront additional allegations related to the Busia incident.
