Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika has publicly denied allegations that she is facing a property auction due to an unpaid debt of KSh 375,652 following a small claims court ruling.
The claims were initially shared by blogger Edgar Obare on his BNN Telegram channel, where he stated that a brand had taken Vera to court over an unpaid invoice, won the case, and was now seeking to auction her property with assistance from an auctioneer and Ngong police.
Obare questioned how Vera, known for her luxurious lifestyle and frequent first-class travels, could be in such a financial dispute.
Vera’s Response
While on a deliberate social media hiatus, Vera quickly addressed the accusations via Instagram Stories, dismissing them as fabricated. She challenged anyone to provide evidence and stated she was unaware of the story's origin, adding that she does not use Telegram and had never been to court.
"When Vera Sidika takes a social media break, they always create fake news to bring me out to shame them. Coz y'all know I will forever have receipts!" she wrote.
She also recalled a previous incident where Edgar had falsely claimed she was homeless, a claim she disproved by showcasing her mansion. Vera suggested such stories tend to emerge whenever she is quietly working on new projects.
Ongoing Disputes with Blogger

So far, Vera has not produced legal documents to disprove the court case claim but promised to share evidence once she receives detailed information.
