The 26-year-old Brazilian, who has one year left on his current deal, was initially granted an extended break following his World Cup involvement. However, sources reveal he is unlikely to rejoin the squad before the end of July, later than the club anticipated.

Vinicius's contract expires at the end of the next season, and Real Madrid is determined to avoid losing one of their key players on a free transfer. While the club has not ruled out selling him this summer, the forward appears keen to stay and reach a new agreement.
