Zenka Digital Limited has inaugurated a new computer learning center at Lighthouse Grace Academy in Mathare North, aiming to enhance digital literacy among students.

Located along Huruma Road in Ruaraka, the facility provides pupils with hands-on access to computers and technology training. This initiative supports the school’s implementation of practical computer studies aligned with Kenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).

The launch event included an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, speeches from Zenka representatives and school officials, as well as testimonials from students, teachers, and parents. Attendees also participated in guided tours and interactive sessions within the center.

The project was driven by Zenka employees who volunteered their time and expertise to empower learners at the academy. Recognizing that many Kenyan schools face challenges accessing technology, Zenka’s contribution highlights the role private sector partnerships can play in expanding educational opportunities.

By equipping students with essential digital skills, the center aims to prepare them for academic success and future careers in a technology-driven world.
