Admission and Fees

Admission typically requires a minimum KCSE grade of C+ or a recognised diploma with relevant grades. Specific courses may have additional subject requirements, such as a B- in Mathematics for Applied Statistics or B in Biology and Chemistry for health-related programmes.

The university follows the Higher Education Funding Model for tuition fees, with 2024/2025 fees ranging approximately from KSh 71,450 for diploma courses to over KSh 275,000 annually for health sciences degrees. Students can access personalised fee details through the AUC student portal.

The Alupe University student portal allows enrolled students to manage registration, course selection, fee payments, examination results, and academic documents online. This digital platform enhances accessibility and administrative efficiency.

Located about seven kilometres from Busia town on the Malaba-Busia Road, AUC occupies roughly 200 acres in Teso South constituency, making it the only public university in Busia County and close to the Uganda border.
