Carol Kim, the second wife of Kenyan influencer Karangu Muraya, has publicly detailed the health issues that affected Muraya’s brother, Kagema, dispelling rumors about his condition.
Responding to a fan’s suggestion that Kagema might have had a transient stroke, Carol clarified that his diagnosis was more severe. She explained that Kagema was battling TB meningitis and extrapulmonary tuberculosis, along with a midbrain abnormality on the left side.
TB meningitis is a serious infection impacting the membranes around the brain and spinal cord, while extrapulmonary TB indicates the disease had spread beyond the lungs to other parts of the body, highlighting the gravity of Kagema’s condition.

Carol has previously shared the emotional strain she endured during Kagema’s hospitalization, describing long nights spent at the hospital alongside Karangu Muraya. She appealed to the public for compassion during this difficult time, acknowledging the mixed reactions she faced online.
