The video, recorded at 4:44 am on Saturday, August 1, captures moments after a traffic collision involving Ng'eno's vehicle and an online taxi. It shows a group of men confronting the taxi driver by the roadside, leading to a physical altercation.
Ng'eno is seen pushing and shoving with the taxi driver and at one point takes the driver's mobile phone, who was recording the confrontation. The taxi driver attempts to retrieve the phone but is knocked down by another man. The two men then grapple until friends intervene to separate them.
During the scuffle, Ng'eno is stabbed multiple times. He is seen checking his abdomen before collapsing on the roadside. He was later carried to a nearby vehicle and rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
