David Polepole, the newly signed striker for Kariobangi Sharks, has expressed strong determination to regain his goal-scoring prowess after a challenging season at Tusker FC.

The Congolese forward joined the Sharks ahead of the 2026/27 FKF Premier League season, eager to turn last season's difficulties into motivation for growth and success.

"I’m grateful for this opportunity at Kariobangi Sharks," Polepole said. "Although last season didn’t go as I hoped, it won’t hold me back. I’m committed to working hard, adapting quickly, and being as competitive as possible on the pitch."

Polepole emphasized his readiness to embrace any role assigned by the coaching staff, aiming to significantly improve his goal tally.

"Whatever role I’m given, I will give it my all. I am focused on redeeming myself and scoring more goals this season," he added.

The striker praised Kariobangi Sharks’ environment, highlighting the club’s clear playing style and supportive coaching team.

"This is a great team with a style that nurtures player development. The coaching staff is ambitious and organized, providing the support I need to succeed," Polepole noted.

He also stressed the importance of mental and physical preparation in achieving his targets.

"To return to my best form, I have to be ready physically, emotionally, and mentally. The support here is helping me get there," he said.

Polepole will be reunited at Kariobangi Sharks with fellow forward Douglas Nyaosi, who also recently joined from Tusker FC. Their arrivals mark key additions for the Sharks in this transfer window.
