Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have apprehended a man suspected of murdering his wife in Sabwani Village, Kiminini Sub-County, Trans Nzoia County.
The deceased woman was found lifeless inside their home, with multiple injuries including a dislocated right shoulder, a deep cut above the right eyebrow, and wounds on her right leg.
Domestic Dispute Suspected
Preliminary investigations by the DCI suggest the fatal attack followed a domestic disagreement between the couple. The victim’s body was transported to Cherangany Hospital Mortuary pending a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
Ongoing Investigations
Authorities have confirmed that the suspect is currently held at Waitaluk Police Station as detectives finalize their inquiries before formal charges are filed. The identity of the individual has not been made public.
