Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has emphasized the importance of focusing on Kenya’s long-term development through Vision 2060, urging political leaders to separate the initiative from electoral politics.
Speaking in Irunduni, Tharaka Nithi County, on Sunday, Kindiki described Vision 2060 as a strategic framework designed to guide the country’s progress over the coming decades. He stressed that the blueprint is about securing a prosperous future for Kenya’s children and grandchildren, rather than influencing the 2027 general election outcomes.
