Comedian and content creator Eric Omondi has made a heartfelt call for assistance following his visit to TV personality Natalie Githinji at Nairobi Hospital. Natalie was admitted early in the morning after experiencing severe illness related to her ongoing battle with endometriosis.
In a video recorded beside her hospital bed, Omondi shared that Natalie arrived at the hospital around 3 a.m. and is currently awaiting scan results. Doctors have not ruled out the need for surgery.
Raising Awareness and Funds
Eric Omondi revealed that he and Natalie had recently discussed endometriosis, a chronic condition affecting thousands of women in Kenya. He praised her for being outspoken about the disease, which often goes unspoken, and encouraged her to take on an ambassadorial role to represent and support others living with the condition.
The two were also planning a large awareness event, potentially at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), aimed at providing a platform for women to share their experiences and advocate for better solutions. Omondi urged corporate entities to support the initiative.
Call for Donations
With Natalie's hospitalization and possible surgery, Omondi appealed to the public to contribute towards her medical expenses. He shared her M-Pesa number for donations: 4796 420 840 (Natalie Lea Githinji). He encouraged contributions of any amount, emphasizing the urgency of the situation.
“Send 10 bob, 10,000, or even 1 million,” Omondi said, appealing to the generosity of the public to help cover hospital bills and upcoming treatment costs.
