President William Ruto's personal aide, Farouk Kibet, spearheaded a high-level delegation to Mandera County on Saturday as part of a strategic campaign to strengthen grassroots support for the President and his administration.
The visit highlights the government's intensified push to consolidate political backing across Kenya's northern regions. Kibet, recognized for his key role in political mobilization, was warmly welcomed by local leaders, elders, and residents.
The delegation included a diverse group of lawmakers from various counties and political affiliations, such as Isiolo Senator Fatuma Dullo, Likuyani MP Innocent Mugabe, Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse, Kisii Woman Representative Donya Dorice, Nominated Senator Betty Montet, Marsabit Senator Mohamed Chute, and MPs Feyzal and Mulanya.
During engagements with local stakeholders, the team emphasized themes of national unity, fair resource allocation, and ongoing government-led development projects targeting marginalized areas. They called on the Mandera electorate to support President Ruto’s agenda to ensure sustained development and political stability.
