During Tony Ndiema's funeral on August 5, 2026, Florence Agola, his partner in his last days, spoke emotionally about their relationship and the circumstances surrounding his passing.

Florence revealed that their connection began in Rongo when Tony was still involved with another woman named Christine Milan. Tony had expressed a desire to settle down, unlike Christine who wanted to travel. Florence, single at the time, welcomed the relationship and described Tony as consistent and attentive, often calling her during and after his shows.

Based in Rongo, Florence shared that Tony frequently visited her and embraced her two children as his own, highlighting the depth of their bond.

Tony’s Health Decline and Final Days

Their relationship had become serious enough that Tony had informed his mother of plans to bring Florence home as his wife in August. However, his health rapidly deteriorated due to severe headaches. Florence urged him to seek medical help, leading to hospital visits in Rongo and later Kisii, where an MRI indicated urgent intensive care was needed.

Despite medical efforts, Tony’s condition worsened and he passed away on the afternoon of August 5. Florence recounted the difficult moments and closed her tribute by acknowledging Tony’s loving nature and openness about any children he had fathered.

"He was a loving man. If you know you had a child with Tony, I have no problem with that," she stated.
