Public Service Internship Programme

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has launched recruitment for the ninth cohort of its Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP) for the 2026-27 financial year. This 12-month internship targets graduates with a bachelor's degree obtained in 2020 or later who possess computer skills and have not previously participated in a similar government internship.

Successful interns will be placed across ministries, departments, state agencies, corporations, and public universities. They will receive a government stipend and a certificate upon completing the programme. Applications are open online via the PSC jobs portal until August 17, 2026.

ICT Authority Vacancies and Procurement

  • Vacancies: The ICT Authority is seeking candidates for two positions – Corporation Secretary (contract) and Principal Administration Officer (permanent and pensionable). Interested applicants should apply online through the ICT Authority recruitment portal by August 11, 2026.
  • Procurement: Under the Kenya Digital Economy Acceleration Project (KDEAP), funded by the World Bank, the ICT Authority has extended the deadline for bids on providing broadband internet capacity to selected government sites. New submissions will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. on August 4, 2026.

  • The Commission on Administrative Justice (Office of the Ombudsman) is recruiting for the role of Personal Assistant to the Commission Secretary/CEO. Applications must be submitted via the commission's e-recruitment portal by August 11; hard copies will not be accepted.
