The Ministry of Sports has called on the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to intensify preparations for the Harambee Stars ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which Kenya will co-host with Uganda and Tanzania.
During a meeting with the AFCON Local Organising Committee (LOC) in Nairobi, Sports Principal Secretary Elijah Mwangi emphasized the need for the national team’s performance to complement the world-class stadium infrastructure being developed across the country.
