Pastor Joash Marogo, a senior minister from Chepkumia ward in Nandi County, has died at St. Luke Hospital on August 15, 2026, following a prolonged illness caused by a stroke.
He dedicated much of his ministry to mentoring young people within the Pentecostal Assemblies of God (PAG) and Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa (PEFA) churches. Over the years, Pastor Marogo worked as a youth trainer and facilitator, shaping the spiritual lives of many in his community.

Known for his steadfast commitment, he held senior pastoral roles and was widely respected for his devotion to both God and humanity. Geoffrey Aluda, who announced the passing on Facebook, described Pastor Marogo as a great man whose life was a model of service.
