In an emotional message, Karangu reflected on his brother's final words and the shock of losing him so suddenly. He expressed deep sorrow and uncertainty about how to break the news to their mother.
Karangu wrote, "Dear bro Joshua Muraya Kagema, you have gone too soon. You promised not to disappoint me but you have done it, bro. I remember your last words, 'Karangu witu Ngai akuongerere nyingi.' I don't know what to do now, I don't know what to tell mum. Dear Lord this is too much for me."
