Lady Bishop Kathy Kiuna, co-founder of Jubilee Christian Church (JCC), shared intimate details about her marriage to the late Bishop Allan Kiuna during a recent church address.
She revealed that Allan Kiuna, who hailed from Kariobangi, started their marriage without any financial means. "He had nothing in his pockets, only his looks," Kathy recounted, emphasizing Allan's humble beginnings in the slums.
Despite the challenges, Kathy said her faith allowed her to look beyond immediate circumstances. She believes women carry favour into marriage, a conviction that shaped her decision to marry Allan despite his poverty at the time.
"I married a man without coins, but he married favour," she explained, crediting this spiritual favour as a key factor in their journey. Over time, Allan transformed into a respected leader and role model within the Christian community.
Kathy attributed their enduring marriage to shared faith and values, underscoring that Allan married a woman who fears God. Her reflections offered a heartfelt glimpse into the foundation of their partnership and the legacy they built together through JCC.
