Defending champions KCB will clash with Kenya Pipeline in the highly anticipated Kenya Cup women’s volleyball final scheduled for Sunday at the Kasarani Indoor Arena.
KCB secured their spot after a gripping five-set semi-final victory against Kenya Prisons. The match was tightly contested, with KCB taking the first and third sets, Kenya Prisons leveling the match twice, and the decisive fifth set ending 15-12 in favour of KCB.
Kenya Pipeline booked their place in the final with a straight-sets win over the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI). Although the overall 3-0 scoreline suggests a smooth win, Pipeline faced a stiff challenge in the opening set, narrowly edging it 29-27 before comfortably taking the next two sets 25-16 and 25-18.
The final will kick off at 2:00 pm, while the third-place playoff between Kenya Prisons and DCI is set for 10:00 am at the same venue.
