The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has issued a warning to the public regarding fake employment contract letters being circulated by scammers impersonating the agency.
According to KeNHA, these counterfeit documents falsely claim to be issued by the Authority and are not genuine. The agency emphasized that official employment and contract award letters are only sent to successful applicants through its authorized communication channels.
KeNHA advises job seekers to verify the authenticity of any employment-related correspondence directly with the Authority before responding or taking any action. The public is urged to disregard suspicious job offers, letters, or contracts that appear to originate from KeNHA.
Additionally, KeNHA cautioned against making any payments in exchange for employment opportunities, stressing that legitimate recruitment processes do not require applicants to pay fees.
The Authority encourages anyone who encounters suspected fraudulent activities or scams to report them either to the relevant law enforcement agencies or directly to KeNHA.
