The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced a temporary partial closure of Mombasa Road (A8) at the Highway Educational Complex near Bellevue. The closure will last from August 10 to September 14, 2026, to facilitate the construction of a box culvert.

Both directions of the busy highway will be affected during this period. To ease congestion, KeNHA will maintain two open lanes on an alternating basis to allow continued traffic flow.

Traffic Management and Motorist Guidance

  • Motorists are urged to follow the traffic management plan implemented on site.
  • Police officers and traffic marshals will be deployed to manage traffic and ensure safety.
  • KeNHA advises full cooperation from road users during the construction period.
