Kenya Airways flight KQ784, operating from Nairobi to Cape Town, landed safely on August 4 despite experiencing a tyre burst upon touchdown at around 3:30 pm local time.
Following the incident, all passengers and crew disembarked safely and were escorted to the airport terminal. The airline confirmed that the flight crew adhered strictly to safety protocols during the event.
Due to the damage sustained, Kenya Airways has cancelled the return flight KQ785 while technical teams conduct necessary repairs on the aircraft.
