Western counties such as Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, and Busia are expected to experience the heaviest rainfall, including thunderstorms during the morning and afternoon hours. Most parts of the country will see a mix of sunshine and rain in the afternoon before conditions improve in the evening.
Temperature and Weather Conditions
Temperatures across the affected counties will range between 10°C and 30°C. Central and eastern counties including Nairobi, Kiambu, Laikipia, Tharaka-Nithi, Kitui, Makueni, and Kajiado are predicted to experience cool, cloudy weather with minimal rainfall.

The department also warned of strong southerly winds exceeding 25 knots in northern and coastal counties. Areas under this advisory include:
