Kenya Railways and the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) have launched recruitment drives targeting managerial and driver roles. Interested applicants must submit their applications by Monday, August 24, 2026.

Kenya Railways Managerial Vacancies

Kenya Railways is advertising two senior management positions:

  • Human Resource Manager, Grade RG 3 (Job Ref KRBR173) – re-advertised
  • Communications and Public Affairs Manager, Grade RG 3 (Job Ref KRBR174) – newly opened

Both roles are exclusively open to Kenyan citizens. Applicants must provide a signed application letter, detailed CV with current and previous employment details, education background, expected salary, notice period, and contacts of at least three professional referees. Copies of academic and professional certificates, as well as a national ID or passport, are also required.

Kenya Railways emphasizes the importance of truthful information and warns against submitting counterfeit documents. Candidates found providing false details or engaging in canvassing will face disqualification.

Successful candidates will need to present compliance documents under Chapter Six, including certificates from HELB, KRA, EACC, CRB, and a Certificate of Good Conduct.

Communications Authority Driver Recruitment

The Communications Authority is recruiting seven Driver III officers (CA11) on a fixed-term contract of two years, renewable for one additional year based on performance. The drivers will support operations at the authority's headquarters and regional offices nationwide.

Key responsibilities include safe transportation of authorised passengers, vehicle maintenance, routine inspections, and adherence to transport policies. Drivers will operate under the supervision of the Fleet Manager.

Applicants must have:

  • A KCSE mean grade of D (Plain) or equivalent
  • At least two years of driving experience
  • A valid category D2 driving licence with no endorsements in the last two years
  • Passed the Driver Grade III suitability test
  • A first-aid certificate from a recognised institution
  • Proficiency in computer applications

Additional qualifications such as experience in long-distance driving, operation in diverse terrains, and a defensive driving certificate are advantageous.
