Kenyan TikToker, singer and karaoke host Gloria Mwotei, popularly known online as Gee Gee, has died after collapsing during a night out at an entertainment venue in Narok County.

Reports shared by fellow content creators said Gee Gee suddenly became unwell on Thursday night and was rushed to a nearby clinic, where medical workers reportedly found that her pulse was critically low.

The clinic referred her to Narok County Referral Hospital for further treatment, but doctors confirmed that she had died during the transfer between the two medical facilities.

News of her death began spreading across TikTok on Friday, July 24, 2026, after several creators who knew her discussed the incident during live sessions and informed followers that she had passed away.

TikToker Big Daddy said Gee Gee was reportedly found collapsed inside a washroom, though he made it clear that little information about the circumstances surrounding her death was available at the time.

Gee Gee, whose real name was Gloria Mwotei, was known among her followers for her music, karaoke events and regular appearances during TikTok live sessions with other Kenyan content creators.

Her sister, Beryl, travelled from Eldoret to Narok after receiving news of the death and later visited the mortuary where her body had been taken.

The family has since called for answers about what happened during Gee Gee’s final hours, with reports indicating that police had begun examining footage from the entertainment venue where she collapsed.

According to accounts shared by her sister, Gee Gee had been hosting karaoke at the venue before someone reportedly invited her to join a table as people prepared to leave for the night.

She was later seen walking towards the washroom through security camera footage, but she did not return to the main area without assistance.

Reports said an unidentified woman was captured leaving the washroom area around the same period, though no evidence has publicly connected that person to Gee Gee’s collapse or death.

Police reportedly secured the entertainment venue as investigations began, with the family arranging for a private pathologist to take part in the postmortem examination.

The exact cause of Gee Gee’s death had not been confirmed by the time the first reports were published, and claims circulating online remain unconfirmed until medical and police investigations are completed.

Her sudden death has drawn hundreds of condolence messages from fellow TikTokers, friends and fans who remembered her as an active member of Kenya’s online entertainment community.

Some followers shared videos from her previous live sessions, performances and karaoke appearances, with many expressing shock that she had died only hours after interacting with people online.
