Kenyan comedian Timothy Kimani, widely known as Njugush, successfully hosted the sixth edition of Through Thick and Thin (TTNT6), a live comedy event that has grown into one of Kenya’s premier entertainment franchises.

Previously a duo with Wakavinye, the pair built TTNT from their college days at Kenya Institute of Media and Communication (KIMC) into a major brand. However, following their separation in 2025, TTNT6 was staged as a solo show by Njugush.

Fans Hope for Reunion but Wakavinye Absent

Many fans had anticipated seeing Wakavinye at the event, hoping for a possible reconciliation. Their absence sparked disappointment among the audience, especially after photos from the show circulated on social media featuring other celebrities such as Abel Mutua with his wife Judy Nyawira, Eddie Butita with his partner Celestine, and Phil Karanja with Mukami Maina.

Njugush appeared alone during the event and openly shared that he is currently single, acknowledging the challenges of adjusting to life post-separation.

Background on the Breakup

Details of the split emerged through leaked conversations shared by social media personality Edgar Obare. Njugush revealed that his marriage ended due to allegations of infidelity by Wakavinye, who also reportedly disclosed private information about their relationship. Njugush cited his two sons, Tugi and Toria, as reasons for delaying the divorce process.
