Sharing an update on Instagram, Favor emphasized that the effort was more than just removing Omugunda from the streets. It was about restoring his dignity and offering him a fresh start. "His story reminds us that behind every person begging on the street is a story we may never know," Favor wrote.
A video posted eight weeks after the rescue shows Omugunda expressing heartfelt thanks to those who supported his journey. He says, "I feel so good, right now I'm okay. I'm happy, thank you so much." The footage also captures moments of Favor taking Omugunda shopping for food, clothing, bedding, and household essentials.
