Former Agriculture Minister Kipruto Arap Kirwa has called on the United Opposition to focus on winning the 2027 presidential election outright in the first round. In an interview, the former Cherangany MP highlighted the opposition's limited capacity to sustain a prolonged campaign beyond the initial election. He warned that a second round would give President Ruto an advantage through his extensive political network and campaign resources, thereby diminishing the opposition's chances.
