Legal representatives and relatives of Mukurwe-ini MP John Kaguchia have reported being denied access to him since his arrest on Monday. The legislator was taken to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters along Kiambu Road, but his exact whereabouts remain unknown.
Speaking outside the DCI offices, High Court Advocate Ndegwa Njiru revealed that Kaguchia's family and legal team have been waiting at the reception but have not been allowed to see him. Attempts to determine the reasons for his arrest or his current condition have been unsuccessful.
