Jubilee Party Deputy Leader Fred Matiang'i has commenced a two-day tour across Migori County aimed at engaging local communities and addressing their concerns as part of his broader agenda for national renewal.
On the first day, Matiang'i visited Kuria West constituency, including stops at Masaba, Kehancha, Ikerege, and Isebania. He expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity to interact with residents and emphasized his dedication to fostering a united and prosperous Kenya.
"This journey is about listening to the people of Migori, engaging with communities, and reaffirming our shared commitment to building a united, just, and prosperous nation," Matiang'i said.
He acknowledged the challenges ahead, stating that national transformation requires collective effort and resilience. "The road to national renewal is not an easy one, but with faith, courage, and the unwavering resolve of our people, we shall liberate our country and restore hope for every Kenyan. Let us move forward together," he added.
The Migori visit complements ongoing Jubilee Party outreach initiatives across the country.
Recent Political Developments
Earlier in the week, Matiang'i was appointed to the Azimio Coalition's National Council, the coalition's top decision-making body. This move, announced by Azimio Council Secretary General Caroli Omondi, also included former Meru Governor Peter Munya and Senator Lenny Kivuti.
The appointments are part of a broader reorganisation and rebranding effort within the Azimio Coalition, which was formed ahead of the 2022 general election to unite various parties including ODM, Wiper, and Jubilee against the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
