Police from Kayole Police Station have successfully disrupted a phone theft syndicate operating in Nairobi's Nyaura area. The operation, guided by intelligence gathering, led to the arrest of four suspects connected to a network dealing in stolen mobile devices.
Authorities recovered a total of 132 stolen mobile phones, alongside several motherboards and two laptops believed to be associated with the criminal enterprise. Among those arrested is a key suspect alleged to be the main receiver of phones stolen by street snatchers, while the others are linked to various phone-snatching incidents in the vicinity.

The National Police Service highlighted that this crackdown is part of their broader efforts to dismantle criminal groups profiting from stolen property and to protect residents from such crimes. Detectives continue to investigate, aiming to identify and apprehend more members of the syndicate.
