Authorities have moved to prosecute a suspect involved in a fraudulent land transaction valued at approximately Sh12 million in Muthaiga, Nairobi.
The suspect, Robinson Mbatha Wambua, was apprehended during an intelligence-led operation at Jacaranda Hotel in Westlands. The arrest followed investigations by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Starehe and the Land Fraud Investigations Unit (LFIU).
Initial inquiries began after a complaint regarding suspicious dealings over a one-acre parcel along Mua Park Road. Further investigations revealed that Wambua, through his company Structure Lite Ltd, allegedly produced and used a fraudulent Certificate of Title for the property.
After completing the investigation, the DCI forwarded the case file to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP). The ODPP reviewed the evidence, determined a prima facie case existed, and authorized formal charges.

Wambua is currently undergoing processing before his court arraignment. The DCI reiterated its commitment to combating land fraud and safeguarding property rights across the country.
