The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has named Ruth Kulundu as its acting Chief Executive Officer, effective August 5, 2026. Kulundu will maintain her role as Deputy Commission Secretary (Operations) while serving in the acting CEO capacity.
This appointment follows the six-month tenure of Moses Ledama Sunkuli, who will revert to his role as Director of Electoral Operations.
