Scholarship Details
- Seven scholarship positions are available across three Master's programmes.
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering has five slots.
- Information Technology and Computer Science each have one slot.
- The scholarship covers tuition fees and research expenses for the entire duration of study.
- Recipients will serve as Graduate Assistants at Tharaka University.
- Studies commence in August 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be Kenyan citizens under 30 years of age.
- A minimum of a second class honours upper division degree in a relevant field is required.
- Applicants should be registered or eligible for registration with relevant professional bodies.
- Successful candidates are expected to complete the Master's programme within the prescribed period and may proceed to a PhD under the same scholarship scheme.
All applicants must submit their applications online via the university's careers portal, addressed to the Vice-Chancellor. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
